They know trading and they know what they need to perform their roles efficiently and problem free. Their experience was crucial to creating the EATrade solution. We created a solution that wasn’t just defined by IT "patterns" or methodologies but a system that is rich in features, easy to use and easy to maintain.
The system takes all executions done in different platforms (trading systems, exchange direct, files feeds etc), save this to a database making the information available to the users in real time.
There is a lot of functionality in the system and it makes it difficult to list everything. A few mentioned here:
- Organize and route executions to appropriate desk and traders
- Manipulates data according with users’ criteria (aggregation, split etc)
- Allocate orders and executions using multiple algorithms

When we looked to upgrade our order management and post trade electronic solutions we looked at everything available. I have had a relationship with EATrade for the past ten years. Initially, a middle office system was required to ensure both accurate and timely matching of the trading activity between the market and back office system. Data Management was also needed, with an overall ability to cancel market orders if required. These system additions were readily provided and whatever new requirements were needed were updated and made available. EATrade has become an integral part of the business and the system has also become a part of the monthly invoicing procedures, along with the ability to match payment receipts against trades invoiced. I am often amazed at how the proprietor of EATrade intuitively understands the requirements of the derivatives market and often offers additional ideas to assist with product development and solutions.
